Background
Dr. Khalil is a founding faculty of two medical schools with expertise in medical education. He accumulated many years of experience in, curriculum design, educational technology and medical education research. He developed the knowledge of instructional methods and training techniques, including curriculum design principles, learning theory, group and individual teaching techniques. He also developed the skills to analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate instructional materials, as well as the skills to validate instructional programs. Dr. Khalil has extensive experience of teaching anatomical sciences. He taught human anatomy, comparative anatomy, and microanatomy to undergraduate, graduate and professional students. Dr. Khalil core purpose is to promote students’ teaching and learning, adhere to highest standards, sharing of knowledge with others to promote effective medical education, and advocate for social justice. Dr. Khalil leadership is influenced by his core value, which includes integrity and ethical behavior, justice, fairness and personal accountability, excellence, teamwork and mutual respect and diversity.
